STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
I am Miracle Friday Etim by name, an indigene of Ikot Ntot in Mkpat Enin L.G.A.
I’m a 200 level medical student at the University of Uyo. Despite the challenges I have faced, I have always been an excellent student, I have worked hard to maintain a high CGPA even though I had to juggle school with a part time job to help my family and I.
I personally choose the medical profession because I want to add value to humanity by saving lives and to proffer solutions to many critical health conditions. These have always remained my utmost aspirations.
I’m applying for this scholarship because I need financial support, the medical school is really time demanding and financial demanding as well and I wouldn’t want to drop out due to lack of finances.
I am confident that with the aid of this scholarship I would be able to focus more on my studies and excel without worrying about how I’lll pay for my fees and the cost of buying books.
I Believe I deserve this scholarship because I have the determination to achieve my goals no matter what hurdles I have to overcome. I would effectively take advantage of this opportunity.
