STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
I am Christopher Ubong Anderson, a first-year student of Journalism and Media Studies (HND)at Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, from Ikot Afang, Mkpat Enin LGA. I am applying for the EMOIMEE Trust Fund Scholarship to support my academic and professional aspirations in the media industry.
Growing up in a community where access to information was limited, I developed a passion for storytelling and the power of media in shaping societal change. My goal is to use journalism to raise awareness on critical issues affecting my community, especially in areas of education, health, and social development. This scholarship will relieve the financial constraints I face in pursuing my studies, enabling me to focus on developing the skills needed to make an impactful contribution.
