STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
Sir, I was just a normal student who read and took first position from primary 3 until I met with a senior in my JSS3 who became my role model. He tutored me along with other students and taught us to read everyday that that was why we were called students. I took all his advice and in my SS2, I was privileged to represent Akwa Ibom State in the NNPC National Quiz competition but we came second. It was sad for me because I needed the first position award of scholarship as I came from a home that has been struggling financially. In fact we live from the support of only my mother who sells bread to cater for the needs of the family and our education.
I’m focused and diligent and have great potential towards excellence in academics only that there’s little fund available to sponsor my dreams.
