STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
As an aspiring lawyer, my academic journey has been driven by a passion to improve the litigation process by enhancing alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods and addressing systemic challenges. Through personal research, I have gained insight into the shortcomings of ADR mechanisms and the importance of accessible representation in courts.
This scholarship/grant will alleviate my financial burden and enable me to be more focus on excelling academically.It will help me to engaged in a more meaningful research in my chosen areas. My goal is to specialize in ADR and human rights law to ensure that grievances are resolved efficiently without the delays of litigation and amplifying marginalized voices. Also interested in researching ways of advancing justice, and creating equitable outcomes for all in Nigeria.
