STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
Being the second child of the most hardworking parents ever, I have never been able to settle for less. I’ve always known to give in my best and get the most out of whatever I find myself doing. This has been my driving force from day one. Fortunately, this mindset drove me to become a highflier in school both academically and socially. I engaged myself in numerous community service experiences including voluntarily working three weeks at an orphanage.
The current economic condition of the country is an uneasy weight on the shoulder of every parent. The scholarship would go a long way to relieve the weight of school fees and books on my parents and help me achieve my dream of becoming a medical doctor of which my greatest desire is to positively impact my ward, Ukpum Minya Ward IV, clan, village, state, country, and the world at large.
