STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
I come from a very poor family background and my parents are aged and struggling to meet their day to day needs talkless of affording my school fees and school upkeep money.
Presently, I take up part time sewing jobs to gather money for my upkeep while I depend on the mercy of close relatives to pay my school fees.
Medical school on its own comes with a lot of bills and moreover requires great concentration and time to succeed. It is really difficult for me to combine working part time and the medical school workload.
I am a very diligent and dedicated student as my results can attest to. My diligence rewarded me with an ExxonMobil scholarship that took care of my entire secondary school education but sadly, I haven’t been able to secure any scholarship or grant to assist with this university education yet. I really hope this scholarship can offer me the help I need to overcome these financial difficulties and help make my medical career a reality.
