Why I Deserve This Scholarship

My name is Umoren Akanimoh Joseph, a 300-level student of Mechanical Engineering at the university. I am from Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, and I am deeply proud of my roots. This scholarship represents more than just financial aid to me it is a chance to continue pursuing my dreams despite the challenges I face.

Coming from a humble background, I have always understood the value of hard work and perseverance. My parents have done their best to support my education, but the increasing costs of school fees and accommodation have made it very difficult to continue smoothly. Receiving this scholarship will ease that burden and allow me to focus fully on my studies and personal development.

Mechanical Engineering is a course that requires dedication and innovation. My dream is to further my education after graduation by pursuing a Master’s degree in Germany, where I can gain advanced knowledge and exposure to global engineering practices. With that knowledge, I hope to return and contribute meaningfully to my community by creating solutions, mentoring young people, and developing practical engineering projects that make life easier for others.

I believe I deserve this scholarship because I am hardworking, determined, and humble. I have maintained focus despite challenges, and I continue to push myself to be better every day.
