Dear Scholarship Committee,
I am writing to express my sincere intent to apply for the Emoimee HCDT Scholarship Scheme and to share the reasons I genuinely need this opportunity. My name is Ekpek Wisdom Witness, a dedicated and hardworking student pursuing a degree in Physics at the University of Uyo. I strongly believe that education is the foundation for a successful and purposeful life. However, financial limitations have posed significant challenges to my academic journey. The delay in doing most of these things on time makes me backward in school activities like in Manual and registration of courses can cause all this. And most times you can’t get help and no one to sort your bills for you it is really difficult.
Despite these difficulties, I have continued to maintain good academic performance through discipline, consistency, and determination. Coming from a modest background, meeting daily expenses has always been a struggle. My parents have sacrificed greatly to support my education, but with rising tuition fees, learning materials, and other costs, it has become increasingly difficult for them to meet these financial demands. Receiving this scholarship would greatly reduce that burden and allow me to focus fully on my studies without constant financial worry.
Beyond financial need, I am deeply passionate about making meaningful contributions to society. My long-term goal is to become an engineering physicist and use my knowledge to uplift others in my community. I view this scholarship not only as financial aid but also as an investment in a young person committed to creating positive change.
If given this opportunity, I will continue to demonstrate academic excellence, integrity, and leadership. I also aspire to give back by supporting others who face similar challenges in the future.
