Scholarship Application Letter

Dear Scholarship Committee,

My name is Ebietobong Cyril Umoren, a student of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development at the University of Uyo. I am writing to sincerely apply for your scholarship program to support my education.

I have been sponsoring myself through school with great determination and faith. However, the financial demands have become overwhelming. My mother is currently very sick and requires continuous medical attention, while my father is not financially capable of supporting my education. As a result, I often struggle to meet my academic needs, including tuition fees, textbooks, and basic living expenses.

Despite these challenges, I remain fully committed to my studies and to making a positive impact in my community through agriculture and rural development. I believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty, and with your support, I can continue to pursue this dream without the constant fear of financial setbacks.
