Established in line with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) 2021, the Host Community Development Trust is committed to fostering positive change in collaboration with the NNPC/MPN JV EMOIMEE. To be eligible for our scholarship program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Indigene:
– Applicants must be an indigene of Mkpat Enin, demonstrating a strong connection to the community.
2. Academic Achievement:
– Candidates must have a proven track record of academic excellence, as evidenced by a minimum GPA requirement.
3. Admission to Tertiary Institution:
– Applicants should have secured admission or be enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution.
4. Field of Study:
– While we value diversity in academic pursuits, preference may be given to candidates pursuing fields that align with the development needs of Mkpat Enin.
5. Community Engagement:
– Demonstrated involvement in community service or development activities will be considered positively during the evaluation process.
6. Financial Need:
– The scholarship aims to support students with demonstrated financial need, ensuring that deserving individuals can access quality education.
7. Character and Leadership:
– Candidates should exhibit qualities of good character, leadership potential, and a commitment to ethical behavior.
8. Letter of Recommendation:
– Applicants are required to submit one letter of recommendation from a HOD and Community leader who can attest to their character and academic capabilities.
9. Application Submission:
– All applications must be submitted onine through our official website to be considered.
10. Compliance with Terms and Conditions:
– Applicants must agree to and comply with the terms and conditions set forth by the NNPC/MPN JV EMOIMEE Host Community Development Trust Scholarship Program.
